After rave reviews from friends to move from charcoal to gas barbeques I bought the Outback 6 burner barbeque for my husband`s impending 40th birthday party. I was extremely impressed with the speedy and courteous delivery service. The barbeque took a bit of time to put together and on a couple of instances required two of us (mainly in lifting the hood onto the frame which is quite heavy). However, we got the barbeque sparked up and in no time at all we were eating burgers which were delicious. The Outback barbeque is fantastic. Solid, sturdy and a pleasure to use. I highly recommend it to all barbeque fans.

Outback Elite Platinum 6 Burner Hooded Q+A's

Q: Please can you supply me with the full spec for the Outback Elite Hooded 6 Burner gas BBQ? Are spare parts readily available, i.e replacement burners?

Q: I have recently replaced my Butane 13Kg gas bottle for my BBQ, which has just rotted away (the BBQ that is). I know you recommend propane gas for the above BBQ, but could I still use up my butane gas bottle first? And what is the difference anyway. Surely gas is gas? I have kept the regulator from my old BBQ, so surely it's just a matter of fitting that and away we go?

Q: Is the griddle of this barbecue flat or ridged? Is it possible to add a ring burner to the side?

Q: Can you tell me the difference between a hooded burner and a flat bed?

Q: What is the total dimensions of this product please with the arms up on both sides.

I was impressed with the swift and timely delivery, and also particularly impressed with the prompt responses to my queries and emails before delivery. We used the BBQ at the weekend for a very large party of 45 and I am reliably told by the `chef` that it was fantastic to use, and the food turned out delicious. Would definitely recommend both Flaming BBQ`s and the Outback Elite 6 Burner BBQ.
