The Outback Bakehouse charcoal barbecue has many great features and brings a unique style and design to charcoal barbecuing.

This particular Outback model comes complete with a porcelain coated cast iron cooking surface which is rust proof and therefore more hygienic.

I ordered the BBQ at 2:30 pm Thursday, and it arrived 10:00 am Friday (next day) sterling service. Quite easy to assemble (on my own, about 90 minutes. An outback cover WAS included (even although the product description says there is not one) Due to inclemant weather I have not been able to use the BBQ yet. Porcelain coated cooking area

Cooking Surface

The Bakehouse has a porcelain coated cast iron cooking surface which is rust proof, more hygienic and easy to clean. The cooking surface is split into 2 x Porcelain Coated Cast Iron Grill Sections. To each side of the cooking surface, built into the side shelves, are handy utensil trays, these remove for easy cleaning and are dishwasher safe. The left hand side shelf detaches for compact storage. Above the cooking surface is a warming rack for keeping cooked food piping hot. This can be removed quickly and easily for cleaning and is dishwasher safe.

Q: How wide is the cooking area?

Q: I want to take this bbq overseas with me. 1) does it come flat packed? 2) what does the box weight (I have a maximum of 32kgs in any one package) and 3) Are you able to supply forms for me to reclain the VAT?

Although I do a lot of online purchases, I have never felt the need to write reviews. However the service at this site has been expeceptional and hence I had to write in to say - Well done. I got this very good quality BBQ on the 3rd day as promised and when I called customer care as the cover was missing, it was dispatched off without delay and I received it 40hrs later! So in all fantastic service & a fantastic product, the quality of this BBQ really stands out. All I have to say is I am never going to the DIY stores to pick up a BBQ ever again!! (even though the value of the equipments have been nearly the same). Well done to the team at Flaming BBQ.
