Birds that visit your garden are territorial, so to help them use birdball position it away from feeders, other nesting areas and out of reach of inquisitive little fingers. Find a sheltered spot out of direct sunlight are prevailing winds where birdball can hang unhindered at least 5 feet from the ground.

Birds can take months or even years to use a new nesting site but often return annually when they find one they like. You may remove old nesting materials from birdball between October and November and rinse the inside thoroughly with hot water. Never use bleach. detergent or any other harsh cleaning products. Birdball is made from frost resistant natural materials and may weather with time.

Birdball has been designed to encourage small birds like Coal tits, Marsh tits, Blue tits and Great tits to nest in your garden.
