Fir Tree Frost Eater

To guard against frost damage, two small electric heaters are available. Both are thermostatically controlled and will cut in when required, protecting your plants.

For safety the heating element is sheathed and all electrical connections are protected inside the enclosure at the end of the heater.

Frost 'Eater 500

This has an output of 500 watts (½ Kw).

It will give frost protection in small areas, from cold frames and mini greenhouses to polythene curtained off areas of larger greenhouses.

Frost 'Eater 1000

This has a higher output of 1 kw which makes it suitable for use in larger areas up to 10ft x 8ft, depending on the severity of the frost in your part of the country.
