Swing King Adventure Double Swing is a sturdy double-swing pole set made from premium timber. It features thick soft-feel polypropylene swing ropes and heavy duty blow-moulded swing seats.

The timber is supplied from well managed forests and other controlled sources. The timber has a 10 year warranty against wood rot and insect damage.

This swing set is designed for residential use for children aged between 3 and 12. The weight guideline is 50kg per child.

Wood is a natural living material - each piece of timber will have grains and knots which vary from set to set. Please note that the timber will naturally react to changes in atmospheric conditions - some splitting may occur as it expands and contracts with changes of humidity and temperature. This is perfectly natural and does not affect the integrity of the set. For extra stability, we reccomend concreting into the ground but is not neccessary.

Square wood: characteristics and maintenance advice

Wooden climbing frames and wooden swings made from square cut timbers will contain less heartwood than the round timbers. This will reduce instances of cracking and splitting when compared with round wood but shakes and splits will still occur. Again, you can be reassured that Swing King wood playsets are dimensioned and designed to ensure that this has no effect on their structural integrity. Just as with round wood, your wooden climbing frame or wooden swing must be regularly checked. Any areas affected by spilintering or lifting should be rubbed down with coarse sandpaper to restore a smooth surface suitable for wood playsets.
