Construction
The 28mm interlocking timbers coupled with substantial framing ensure that the building is both stable and rigid. All parts of this cabin are constructed using modern wood working equipment.
Windows
The top opening windows helps provide the internals with plenty of natural light. Georgian bars mixed with traditionally styled hinges ensure a classic traditional design aesthetic is maintained.
Double Doors
The half glazed double doors help provide a light and airy ambiance, providing the internals with plenty of natural light. The Georgian bars mixed with traditionally styled hinges ensure a classic traditional design aesthetic is maintained. The bolts provided allow one door to be fixed in position, or fully opening on a summer day.
Overhang
The BillyOh Portland log cabin utilises an overhang extending past the expanse of the verandah. The height at the lowest point is still high enough for a 6ft adult to stand comfortably. The overhang provides shade from the sun in hot summers and protection from the elements in autumn showers, increasing the versatility of this cabin.
Verandah
The BillyOh Portland log cabin utilises an integral traditional verandah, extending the buildings use to the outside in addition to the spacious interior. The verandah is a perfect place to enjoy an early morning coffee overlooking the garden, or enjoying a late night BBQ in the summer months.
Building Versatility

Tongue and Groove Floor
The floor is constructed using individual 11mm Tongue and Groove boards, when assembled this gives a great aesthetic look to the building as well as giving extra strength

Each of our BillyOh log cabins are supplied with an interlocking tongue and groove floor which is supported with strong floor bearers giving a greater load capacity and reducing any floor bounce
