Guide to Plant Pathology
Studying and understanding plant pathology is important for our world today. Knowledge of the cause of plant diseases, the symptoms, and solutions is critical to the world’s food chain. Without the ability or resistance to stave off pathogens, plants would continue to die off and become extinct. In time, all other living animals dependent upon plants would also begin to die off. But with continued advances in disease understanding, prevention, and control, this future extinction can be avoided.
