BillyOh Tasman 500 3 Burner Hooded Gas Barbecue Including Cover & Gas Hose
The BillyOh Tasman 500 Hooded Gas BBQ is the upgrade to the highly popular Tasman 300 & 400 Barbecues. With its large 51 x 37cm chrome cooking grill you can rest assured that this barbecue is the perfect solution for an economy family barbecue which still has enough power and kick to cater for garden parties also.
Features
The Tasman 500 Gas Barbecue also comes equipped with a gas hose as standard and a weather-proof cover to protect from the elements when not in use. For the Tasman 500 we have included the hose but not the regulator as for this size of barbecue some people prefer to use butane and some propane so we have decided to leave that choice in your hands (please check our barbecue accessories department). Also a feature on the Tasman 500 is the variable heat control with a maximum output of 5.7kw which allows you to cook a variety of different foods or whatever the party requires. Additional features of the Tasman 500 include the piezo ignition which makes for easy convenient lighting.
What Gas?
We recommend propane/patio gas as it will supply gas all year round, even on cold winter days. Butane bottles however tend to supply sufficient gas during the summer, but its performance may well be reduced once temperatures drop below 10 degrees C. Please be aware that if you intend to use butane that a butane regulator is not supplied and we do not stock these items.
Grill Cooking
The natural food juices produced during cooking fall onto the flame tamer plates below and vaporise. The subsequent rising smoke bastes the food, as it travels upwards, imparting that unique barbecue flavour.
Roasting Hood Cooking
Barbecues equipped with a roasting hood give the option of cooking with hood closed to form an ‘oven’ for roasting food, such as joints of meat , whole chickens, etc.
3 Burners + Heat Control
Underneath the hood of the Tasman 500 sits a large chrome cooking grill and 3 impressive burner with flame tamers and variable heat control.
Fixed Side Tables
The Tasman 500 features 2 fixed side table which provide extra work space and serving area.
Storage Shelf
Included as an intergral part of the barbecue trolley is a storage shelf which is a perfect additional storage solution.
Cover Included
This BillyOh barbecue comes with a weatherproof black pvc cover, to protect it from the elements when not in use.
