BillyOh 3 Burner Stainless Steel Hooded BBQ overview
This barbecue is the epitome of outdoor cooking. Built with a split level shelf, 3 cast iron burners and a stainless steel hood, you're presented with a highly dependable and versatile barbecue that will cook exceptional food every time.
The split shelf ensures all food can be cooked at once, ideal for parties and family gatherings. A temperature gauge on the stainless steel hood ensures precise roasting or steaming can be achieved, and a galvanised steel drip tray helps prevent spillages.Side shelves facilitate the storage of food and plastic wheels ensure easy movement.
Gas and Regulator
We include a propane/patio gas clip on gas regulator as standard with this bbq and recommend that you use propane gas or patio gas to achieve the best barbecuing experience. However this barbecue can use either propane / patio gas or butane LPG gas.
We recommend propane/patio gas as it will supply gas all year round, even on cold winter days. Butane bottles however tend to supply sufficient gas during the summer, but its performance may well be reduced once temperatures drop below 10 degrees C. Please be aware that if you intend to use butane that a butane regulator is not supplied and we do not stock these items.
Grill Cooking
The burner heats up the lava rock underneath the grill, which in turn heats up the food on the grill. The natural food juices produced during cooking fall onto the hot lava rock below and vaporise. The subsequent rising smoke bastes the food, as it travels upwards, imparting that unique barbecue flavour.
Roasting Hood Cooking
Barbecues equipped with a roasting hood give the option of cooking with hood closed to form an ‘oven’ for roasting food, such as joints of meat , whole chickens, etc.

I am delighted wiht my new BBQ, last saturday we had an extended family BBQ with over 60 guests, everyone brought their own food and I cooked if for them, some job but the BBQ performed extreemly well and was well admired. The only problem I have is the ignitors are very stiff to opperate you turn the knob up to the ignition and its very difficult to pass that point and ignite the burner. Its too stiff for my wife to opperate. It been like that on the centre burned since I received it but the left burner is now doing the same. That small, problem to one side I am very happy with the BBQ and would reccommend it to all my friends. Pete
I cannot praise this company highly enough. Delived at 6.30 am as we were due to go out at 8.00am. Th equality of the product is outstanding , very easy for 2 of us to assemble (rather heavy)

- Q: Does the BillyOh 3 Burner Hooded Gas BBQ utilize flavorizer bars (like the Weber) or does it use lava rocks (like the Outback)? Separate question, how much does a 13kg propane gas bottle cost?
- A: Gas bottles can be bought from most petrol stations. The Billy-Oh BBQ uses ceramic briquettes.
